Founder's story
When we first wanted to remotely control and then automate tower cranes in 2020, we failed miserably. We learned that the technology we ourselves had worked on for years in the automotive industry could not be directly transferred to the construction industry. So we took a new approach: go out to the construction site and let the users design the software themselves. We got our hands dirty, looked over the shoulders of site managers and foremen on countless construction site days, and realized that digitization is only a reality in the construction industry when the focus is on the construction site and its players. The software is more of a tool that makes work easier but is not intended to replace it.
What came out of it: the ConTech startup specter automation. Today we are proud of more than 20 spectees, and the number is growing. Join us now on the way to digitalize the construction site.
